Product Review
The first logged almost 500 miles before they wore out. Rugged, dependable and lightweight. I now own two more pair.
I don't want to start a brand war since I believe that different brands work for different people. In general I have had best luck with Brooks. My first Brooks was GTS stability shoe and it faired well but I wanted to try the "minimalist thing".
I tried the shoe in a store and it felt very comfortable. While at first you might not realize that is has a lower drop and maybe less cushion than other shoes you do notice when you go on your first real run.
I am not a technical shoe-xpert so whether the split toe does something for me, I cannot tell. I can only tell you that the shoe fits like a glove, feels extremely light and it takes very little time to transition into it.
I have logged only 70 miles in it at this point but cannot see any wear whatsoever.
