I love these sandals. I am a big girl 230lbs. I am always looking for a supportive shoe that will make it so my feet do not ache after being on them for the day. Lots of good adjustment points, great in water, I kayak. Super cushy bottoms, they fit true to size. Excellent price and pretty color. I purchased the purple and black. I have owned them for 8 months. I wore them to the beach all summer and they still look new. I will buy another pair when these wear out. Love them, and they hide my hideous toes, an extra bonus!
I actually bought these for biking. I'm too spastic for bike shoes with clips, but the pads of my feet were hurting in sneakers from the isolated pressure point. The Ahnu sports sandle has a wide toe box and a dispersal plate under the pad of the foot "for stone bruising protection" -- I thought that would be just what I needed on the bike and so far, so good. An added benefit on the bike is that my feet do......
